Michael Reventar is an actor from Toronto, Canada. A troubled youth himself, Michael spent 10 years working with charitable organizations in the inner cities of Toronto, using his life story to help kids avoid the mistakes he made. Michael's first public appearance was on Tiny Talent Time, where at the age of 5 he performed a dance routine to Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean." In addition to dance, he cultivated his musical gifts as a classically trained pianist, eventually going on to win the prestigious Kiwanis Music Festival at the age of 12. After his father-in-law's passing from brain cancer, Michael made the bold choice to follow his passion of being an actor. Relentlessly training with renowned acting coach David Rotenberg, Michael quickly built a reputation as a major talent with an incredible work ethic. Most notably, Michael wowed audiences with his explosive performance in the heart wrenching independent feature Kidnap Capital (San Diego Film Festival 'Chairman Award' Winner) which earned him a Best Supporting Actor Nomination from the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television. Fans raved of his gripping portrayal of Blackout in CW's smash hit series The Flash (Season 1, Episode 7: Power Outage). Also, catch him on both seasons of Crackle.com's The Art of More alongside Kate Bosworth and Dennis Quaid. Michael's upcoming roles include Syfy's Dark Matter, Guillermo del Toro's hit FX series The Strain, and CBS's highly anticipated series Wisdom of the Crowd, staring alongside Jeremy Piven. Michael serves on the Board of Genesis Community of the Arts, which provide sustainable art programs for children in Honduras and Guatemala.
