Biography

Lisa Catara took an unconventional route to Hollywood and her acting career. The Cleveland native graduated from the Eastman School of Music as a classical voice major, then headed to New York City and Broadway musicals. The events of 9/11 mandated a change and Lisa crossed country to Hollywood to pursue acting in television and film. Lisa's television acting credits include appearances on Scorpion (CBS), Rosewood (FOX), Walk The Prank (Disney), State Of Affairs (NBC), The Bridge (FX Network), Days Of Our Lives (NBC), Matador (El Rey Network) and Till Death (FOX), among others. She is remembered for the opening scene of Charlie Valentine (with Raymond J.Barry), in Hard Times (with Linda Hamilton), Criminal Activities (with Michael Pitt, Rob Brown) as well as in Paying Mr.McGetty (with friend and martial artist Don "the Dragon" Wilson). In addition to TV/ film, Lisa Catara completed a her fourth video game, Call of Duty: Black Ops III with Treyarch/Activision in 2015 and starred as Jennifer Lopez in social media star Bart Baker's "Ain't Yo Mama Parody" which boasts over 16,680,000 views on You Tube. She has also appeared in numerous commercials (acting, stunts and driving) and traveled extensively speaking on behalf of many companies/ products as a brand ambassador and product/ service specialist. As a stunt women, Lisa has doubled actresses across most media (including Karla Souza, Ruth Negga, Jennifer Lopez, Natalia Cordova-Buckley, Kristian Alfonzo, Nadine Velasquez) and she specializes in stunts which require trained acting. Most recently, Catara completed a stunt-acting role on a highly popular YouTube show, soon to be announced. Lisa resides in Hollywood, California where she continues to work as an actress, stunt woman and commercial talent.
